LINDA WILLIFORD

WHEREAS, Linda Williford is retiring from the Department of Motor Vehicles on September 6, 2024, after 36 years of professional excellence and loyal service to the State of Nevada; and;

WHEREAS, Linda started her career with the Department of Motor Vehicles in the Data Integrity Department on April 21, 1988; and;

WHEREAS, Linda stayed with the Department of Motor Vehicles Data Integrity Department, and she was promoted to a Technician II as lead trainer; and;

WHEREAS, Linda was a great asset to the Data Integrity department for the remaining of her career; and;

WHEREAS, Linda served honorably for the Department of Motor Vehicles, for more than 36 years; and;

WHEREAS, Linda has endeared herself to all with her vast knowledge, dedication to service, compassion for others and will be sincerely missed, both professionally and personally, by all those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and;

WHEREAS, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the State of Nevada joins with co-workers and management in expressing our profound and sincere appreciation for Linda's 36 years of outstanding service to this department and the residents of our Silver State, earning her right to enjoy a well-deserved and happy retirement with her, son Bruce, brothers, grandchild and other family members all by her side;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim September 7, 2024, as a day in honor of
