NEVADA STATE ELKS ASSOCIATION 100TH ANNIVERSARY

WHEREAS, in 1925, the Elks Lodges of Nevada incorporated under the Nevada Not-For-Profit Corporation Act to create an association of all Lodges within its jurisdiction; and;

WHEREAS, since 1925 the Nevada State Elks Association has inculcated the principles of Charity, Justice Brotherly Love and Fidelity in all the Lodges in the state; and;

WHEREAS, for 100 years, the Association has promoted the welfare and enhanced the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government; and;

WHEREAS, for 100 years, the Association Lodges have been a bulwark of community service and charity within the communities they serve; and;

WHEREAS, for 100 years the members of the Association have continued to dedicate all their resources to benefit the citizens of their individual communities; the great State of Nevada, and the United States of America; and;

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends the Nevada State Elks Association and its members for their service, dedication and enduring commitment to the communities they serve;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim April 26, 2025, as
