Small Business Saturday in Nevada

WHEREAS, the Saturday to shop at small businesses between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses in the State of Nevada and nationwide; and;

WHEREAS, in support of Small Business Saturday, Shop Small Nevada - ¡Nuestra Familias Compran Aquí!, the Nevada Department of Business & Industry, the Latin Chamber of Commerce, and business resource organizations throughout the Silver State, have collaborated to advance small businesses and encourage shopping for small business as advocates for the small business community; and;

WHEREAS, creating opportunities to promote and expand small businesses during the holiday season helps to sustain and establish businesses all year long; and;

WHEREAS, supporting small businesses helps to invigorate the economy, create employment and keep communities thriving; and;

WHEREAS, this initiative to support small business will target radio, television, email, print media, English and Latino media programs, and promote this particular Saturday as a day to shop and support small businesses in all communities in Nevada;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim November 29, 2025, as
